Who else thinks Emily Browning should have gotten the role of Bella in Twilight and not Kristen Stewart?

Kristen shows like no emotion as Bella, but Emily Browning, who was Violet in the Unfortunate Events movie, proved herself to be a wonderful actress. Who else agrees and why?

i didn’t like kristen in twilight and i think emily is a wonderful actress and would have portrayed bella very well

Ohhhhhh her.. um idk. But Kristen Stewart is fucking weird. I think she’s wayy too much into character sometimes… She dropped her award at the Mtv Awards! Ha. I laughed and laughed at her.

She is playing a role people! Read the book again. Do you remember reading the part about how Bella was very hard to read and how she always hid all of her emotions. (from everyone, not just from Edward) Think about it a little more.

ur right about kirsten being crap as bella but I think someone else other than emily browning could have played her…
they probably chose kirsten because her and robert had so much chemistry!
Kirsten was just soooooo….dead as bella it was like watching paint dry everytime she opened her mouth! and sometimes it sounded like she was reading her lines off a page…

I think Kristen was an awesome Bella. She showed great emotion and she played her very well. She was exactly who I would see Bella as being.
I loved Rob as Edward also! ♥♥♥

omg kristen is a terrible actress…she expresses NO emotion at all…in the buk bella is more emotional and bubbly a lil…but kristen is soo not..i dont know how she got the part…and emily browning would have 100% made a better bella…kristen’s personality is soo not good..tooo

I beg to differ. I truly think Emmy Rossum (Phantom of the Opera) should have gotten the role. Physically, she fits the character’s description in the book and she’s got a softer edge than Stewart.
Emily Browning has nothing that remind me of Bella. Nada. Squat.

Definitly me. Kristen sounds depressed for every word she says. Shes so boring. And her voice is so low. AND also.. did you know that Kristin changed the script??!!! Since she had a boyfriend at the time.. She didnt like the romance and saying i love you and kissing and stuff. So she went back through the script and cut out almost everytime she had to say i love you. and cut out 3 kissing scenes!! The book is so much better cuz of the romance!!! ):

I think Kristen really depicts Bella’s character as the author has written her.
When I was reading the book, I imagined Bella to be as emotionless and cold as Kristen plays her

I adore Emily very much I think she is very pretty and a great actress. I don’t think Kristen did a good job as Bella and she wasn’t very grateful about it either. Plus Emily was Stephanie Meyers’ first choice as Bella and fits the description.
