Well I’ve never been fan of the books. However, I can tell you about what I saw in the film (the first one)
Twilight, is not a horror film to me, nor bad I might add. Its more like a LOVE story in the middle of a vampires story. They never try to show blood or fear, but love between a girl and a vampire and the implications of that. While in movies like this one is on the contrary. But yeah, for me a none fan of the book I can watch both having in mind that they express different ideas.

Why is everyone always comparing every fantasy movie with vampires and/or werewolves to Twilight? Twilight was MADE for the fans of the book that was the only reason they are so popular because of the fans. they aren’t good films but fans will love them regardless because they are so devoted. if you didn’t like the books you shouldn’t have gone to see the film because you won’t like it. so stop bringing it up in relation to every other horror film because obviously this film is gonna be better.

Lon Chaney created the synopsis for the original wolfman
with little to go on then he pulled out the best for its time and since then many creations had followed in twist of the legend to fit its story line
but
this is and will be the finality to all lycan movies , though some may follow in its path or shadow , none will ever hold a lit candle to the tragedy and shakespearian story line so result is failures before and after for this is the real deal , the real story of my life.
