I wonde if he will fight the *evil* catholics, spanish and french here in the movie like he do in the books or that would be too politically incorrect. Same for the muslims.
Lets face it, Howard stories were filled with religious -and racial- bias.

Just incase people are unfamiliar, the guy who wrote this blew his brains out in the early 30’s. He collaborated more thouroughly with H.P. Lovecraft and was in no way influenced by the lord of the rings, which was published after he had blown his brains out.

Hope this is good. Kane is the character that Jackman’s Van Helsing was based on, minus the steam-punk and Universal monsters, hence the familiarity (previous posts).

Apart from being nothing alike, both storywise and visually, you could say Lord of the Rings is exactly like Solomon Kane, as he was created around 10 years before Lord of the Rings
